How to care for your jewellery
If an item is marked as sterling silver or silver-plated then we recommend cleaning any tarnish with a soft dry silver cloth ~ but not for prolonged periods.
Store all pieces in a sealed air-tight bag, box, or container to avoid tarnish.
Remove jewellery when using perfume, lotions, showering, or exercising.
Earrings can often react to your natural body chemistry making the posts and metals appear black. This should not harm your skin.
If you are slightly allergic to your earrings, or get a rash or itchy reaction when wearing them, try switching to wearing solid gold or silver jewellery, if available. Or stop wearing altogether to avoid discomfort. One idea is to put a little clear nail varnish on the post and butterfly. When it eventually wears off just re-apply it.
Delivery
UK standard delivery (3-5 days)
For standard delivery, we charge £2.50. Free postage for orders over £30.
Please allow 3-5 working days as goods are dispatched with 2nd class royal mail which is tracked and signed for. We will supply a tracking number once mailed.
USA standard delivery (approx 10 days) is £10 for tracked service. Once your order leaves the UK it will transfer to the responsibility of the overseas mail service.

Returns or exchanges
We hope you are pleased with your jewellery, but if for any reason you are unhappy with your item, please contact us immediately by emailing caroline.alchemyjewellery@btinternet.com (This must be done within 48 hours of receiving your jewellery.)
We will accept items that have not been worn or damaged in anyway. Due to hygiene and risk of contamination, we cannot accept exchanges or returns for any earrings.
The cost of returning the goods is the responsibility of the buyer and is non-refundable.
